I posted the recipe for this Turkey Bolognese sauce back in 2016, it was actually one of my first posts. This is one of those recipes that you cook often and it improves each time you make it? Well, I think this is version 2.0 of the original one.
Butternut Squash Soup with Ginger and Cardamom
There are so many Butternut Squash Soup recipes out there that I was honestly not planning on sharing another one. However, we love this soup so much that I have been wanting to make it for a while. It turned out so good and so easy that I had to share it. The fact that the soup ended up with an incredible color did not hurt either – something that was super exciting and challenging to photograph.
You can perfectly use store-bought cubed butternut squash (why not?), I use them all the time. Still, I prefer to use the whole fresh butternut squash when I have the time to cut it in halves and roast it. And yes, the only tricky part here is to cut it.
Lemon Pasta
Lemon Pasta has to be one of the most versatile recipes there is. Incredibly simple to make, with a handful of ingredients and a few minutes to put together.
Dried and Fresh Mushroom Risotto
Mushroom Risotto is the definition of comfort food.
Mushroom Risotto is an amazing entree or side dish. Perfect for a date night, family dinner, or even to spoil yourself. We really love this recipe at home.
Chocolate Granola Swirled Banana Bundt Cake
This chocolate granola swirled banana bundt cake will become your favorite the minute it comes out of the oven. Not only it is beyond delicious and super easy to make you also get to add your favorite granola, mix it with the most delicious cinnamon swirl, and use your ripe bananas – a win-win-win.
The Perfect Bourbon Vanilla Iced Coffee
This bourbon vanilla iced coffee came to me reminiscing about an Irish coffee I used to have in Venezuela after dinner in a restaurant by the beach. It was either Irish coffee or a flambe espresso (espresso with a hint of rum and lemon zest oil on top – I need to post that recipe for you). I kind of missed that kick of alcohol on a coffee drink.
A boozy dessert is a great way to end a meal and nothing is easier than adding liquor to a milkshake.
Barley Salad with Roasted Chickpeas and Feta
This Barley Salad with Roasted Chickpeas is very easy to make and you can adjust the ingredients you use to make it even easier. The best part for me is that it can be served as a side dish or as a main dish. I really like to have salads as an entree and this is a very hearty and filling salad.
Vanilla Latte Overnight Oats
Overnight oats are the fastest and easiest way to start your day. Put them together with a smoothie and you can be out the door in no time! That is if you have anywhere to go during Covid 2020. So maybe this will be a healthy and hearty way to begin your day while dealing with whatever struggles 2020 has put in your way, and we all have had challenges this year! This will also be one of my shortest posts as they are so easy to make
Vanilla Chai Cheesecake
Sometimes I love a good cup of vanilla chai tea with a hint of milk or creamer and I can never drink just one cup. My experience with vanilla chai tea is where the inspiration for this Vanilla Chai Cheesecake recipe came from.
You probably already know that chai is a mix of aromatic herbs and spices but did you know that Chai also means tea in Hindustani? So when we’re referring to our beverage drink as chai tea, we’re actually saying “tea tea”.
