This will be a short post.
Overnight Oats are so easy and straight forward that I usually just post these kind of recipes in Instagram.
But then I thought, some people just want to google these recipes and they won’t be able to find them unless I post them here.
Overnight Oats couldn’t be easier to make. Just remember the ratio to make overnight oats is usually 1 to 1. 1 measure of old fashioned rolled oats for 1 of the same quantity of liquid, which could be milk, water, almond milk, etc.
I usually use 1 cup of oats plus 1/2 cup of milk and 1/2 cup of yogurt, for thicker consistency. However, this time I used 1 cup of almond milk and 1 cup of oats and it turned out delicious. I added a couple of tablespoons of yogurt just to add a more creamy consistency at the end as a topping.
Speaking of toppings, I would say that they are the best part of overnight oats.
For these I added dry figs, fresh apples and baked apple chips and a drizzle of maple syrup. These turned out the best overnight oats I have ever had!

Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats with Dry Figs
Serves 2
Ingredients
1 cup of almond milk
1 cup of old fashioned rolled oats
1 tbsp of maple syrup
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Toppings
4 dry figs chopped
1 fresh apple, diced
baked apples or apple chips
1/4 cup of vanilla yogurt (optional)
Your favorite granola
A drizzle of maple syrup
Instructions
Place oats in a mason jar.
Add vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup and salt to the almond milk and stir.
Pour milk over the oats and refrigerate covered overnight.
Serve with dry figs, a dollop of yogurt, fresh apple, granola and baked apples chips with a drizzle of maple syrup.
