You can call it strawberry syrup, topping…but the truth is that there’s nothing better than homemade strawberry sauce.
It is one of those super easy and quick recipes (less than 30 minutes!) and trust me when I tell you that is way better than the store-bought stuff, honestly!
You should definitely give this recipe a try, especially if you like to brunch on the weekends. This sauce is great on waffles, pancakes, toasts, cakes. Not to mention on ice cream, yogurt, parfait, panna cotta, overnight oats and cheesecake!. You can use it on drinks, smoothies, cocktails, mocktails, you name it!
You could also add a hint of wine or balsamic vinegar, it all depends on your preference. I added a couple of tablespoons of rose to ours and it was a total success. It added a touch of tang to the sauce making it incredibly delicious!
Nothing beats the fact that it is made in no time and that you also know and control what’s in your sauce.
I like to serve it at room temperature.
I really hope you give this recipe a try and let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
